Bradford's own Frankie Flowers, has brought his green thumb back to his roots! Frank Ferragine AKA “Frankie Flowers” is arguably Canada’s most popular and
trusted gardening authority and weatherman. He is known for a combination of practical advice with the spice of humour and a huge injection of passion for plants and everything gardening. Frankie’s advice has twice earned him Landscape Ontario’s Garden Communicator of the Year, he has been named Toronto’s Favourite Weather Personality 6 years running (Toronto Sun Readers Award) and recently his Disney inspired Tinker Bell Garden won 3 awards including public choice and best overall garden. Frank’s family runs one of the largest combined greenhouse / garden centre operations in Ontario www.bradfordgreenhouses.com, where he still remains active in the business.

CarrotFast 5km Charity Run
This is our seventh year and it keeps getting better and better. Great route. Certified distance this year. Still fast. No hills. Start time. 9:00 a.m.

Jays on the Road presented by Bruce Power is the Toronto Blue Jays FREE interactive Spring & Summer Baseball Tour on wheels! Our Community Cruiser visits various minor baseball tournaments, schools, camps and events throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The program operates May through September and is the perfect element to compliment any event with its supply of prizing and team of baseball enthusiasts. NEW FOR 2011!Beshano Bike Trials ClubThe Beshano bike trials club has been created by Karl Jeannot in 1999. His first goal was to promote the sport and to make people know about what was already a passion for him. Not to mention, that at that time bike trials was mostly unknown from most of the communities. His first thought then was, to bring the sport to the people, amoung the crowds. So for that he started to build an whole set up show that be could brought into divers other events. And all that, with no lower goal than touring the whole East side of Canada. After a while, has he could see all that interest from the people arond him, he decided to go furthur and to creat a huge bike trials training Center, the first one in province. The idea was to: allow self-training, organize competitions, offer courses as well as plenty of other services related to this sport? Today, the Beshano bike trials club is know as the most important bike tirals organisation in Quebec. To Karl J. and all the ones that help and contributed to the accomplishment of that great projet, we say: thank you!

Ontario DockDogs CompetitionOntario DockDogs is the first DockDogs club not only in Ontario but in all of Canada. We are a long standing club with the U.S. based DockDogs organization and with a large number of members already, the club is growing with leaps and bounds, with members from across Ontario and the United States. This will be the 4th Annual DockDogs Competions at Carrot Fest! Come out and support your favourite at the Bradford Community Centre.
