Carrot Fest is back and better than ever and we are extremely excited to get back to our roots this Carrot Fest - Pardon the carrot pun. As Carrot Fest approaches, we must not get too caught up with all the excitement and fun that is to come and instead focus our attention to remember the importance of Carrot Fest at its core, and why it was first started. This would of course be to support our local farmers and local businesses! Bradford has been a produce powerhouse for well over a century, and without the consistent hard work of our farmers, we would not have the amazing community of Bradford West Gwillimbury or our famous Carrot Fest for us all to enjoy. Thanks to generations of fantastic BWG farmers, they have helped the town grow exponentially, allowing it to become the place to be for entrepreneurs and local businesses to thrive. We are extremely proud and thankful for our hard-working farmers and our outgoing and brilliant entrepreneurs within our community that help make Bradford West Gwillimbury the best and most welcoming place to live. Our local farmers continue to provide for our community, as once again free bags of delicious BWG grown carrots will be handed out to all Carrot Fest participants, which are graciously provided from our farmers and the Holland Marsh Growers Association. If you see our local farmers handing out carrots at this years Carrot Fest, make sure to give them a big thanks for putting amazing veggies on our plates for over 120 Years! We are thrilled to announce that our famous Carrot Fest street fair is returning in full force. With over 200 unique vendors attending, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Join us on Friday, August 19th from 4:00PM - 10:00PM and Saturday, August 20th 9:00AM - 6:00PM and show support to those who help make our community as amazing as it is today. Make sure to check out http://www.carrotfest.ca/schedule.html for a full list of dates and times for all our concerts, acts and entertainment at this year's Carrot Fest!
